These savoury, satisfying rolls are packed with Texas flavour and all the fresh BLT crunch you love.
Ingredients
1kg Woolworths Texas BBQ style butterflied boneless chicken with smoked paprika, cumin & black pepper
1 tbs extra virgin olive oil
400g Woolworths smoked streaky bacon
8 Woolworths stonebaked Turkish bread rolls, halved
1/3 cup Woolworths chipotle mayonnaise
8 slices Woolworths cheese burger slices
1/2 lettuce, shredded
4 truss tomatoes, thickly sliced
Directions
Step 1
Preheat barbecue on high. Remove chicken from packaging and lightly coat with oil. Cook for 3 minutes each side until browned. Turn the heat down to medium and cook for a further 40 minutes, turning frequently, or until cooked through. Set aside to rest. Thickly slice.
Step 2
Add bacon to barbecue and cook for 2 minutes each side or until crispy.
Step 3
Place rolls, cut-side down, on barbecue for 1-2 minutes to lightly toast. Remove from barbecue. Top roll bases with mayonnaise. Top with chicken and cheese. Place on barbecue and cover to slightly melt cheese over chicken. Remove and top with bacon, lettuce and tomato. Season. Sandwich with roll lids. Serve.
