Woolworths' Beef & Mushroom Casserole Recipe
Warm up with this slow cooker beef and mushroom casserole. Comforting, delicious and topped with potato minis, it’ll be an instant family favourite.
Ingredients
2 tbs plain flour
3/4 cup dry red wine
2 bay leaves
1 onion, chopped
1/2 cup flat leaf parsley, chopped (save half, fried to serve)
200g mushrooms, quartered
200g swiss brown mushrooms, quartered
8 French shallots, peeled, halved
1 cup beef stock
400g can crushed tomatoes
1kg beef chuck steak
2 tbs olive oil
2 tbs oregano, chopped
500g potato minis (to serve)
1 tsp salt (to taste)
1 tsp pepper (to taste)
Directions
Step 1
Trim fat from beef and cut into 3cm pieces. Toss in flour, seasoned with salt and pepper, to coat well.
Step 2
Heat 1 tbs oil in a frying pan and cook beef in batches until browned. Transfer to a plate. Add remaining oil to same pan and cook onion and shallots for 5 minutes or until softened. Deglaze pan with red wine, scraping bits from base of pan. Add tomatoes, stock, mushrooms, oregano and bay leaves. Season to taste.
Step 3
Transfer mixture to slow cooker and cook on high for 4-6 hours or on low for 6-8 hours.
Step 4
Cook potato minis as per packet instructions. Stir chopped parsley through the casserole. Serve with potatoes and garnish with fried parsley.

Chicken and veg are tossed in honey, lime, hoisin and ginger to take this chicken stir-fry to the next level. Serve this easy dinner with speedy microwave rice.
Ingredients
1 tbs crushed ginger
1 tbs salt-reduced soy sauce
2 tbs hoisin sauce
2 tbs Woolworths pure honey
2 tsp cornflour
2 limes, 1 juiced, 1 cut into wedges
1 long red chilli, thinly sliced
1 tbs vegetable oil
500g Macro free range chicken stir-fry strips
2 bunch bok choy, stalks thinly sliced, leaves roughly chopped
150g snow peas, trimmed
1/2 cup frozen peas
450g microwave long-grain white rice
Directions
Step 1
Combine ginger, sauces, honey, cornflour, lime juice and half the chilli in a small bowl.
Step 2
Heat half the oil in a wok or large, deep frying pan over high heat. Stir-fry chicken for 3 minutes or until browned and cooked through. Transfer to a bowl.
Step 3
Heat remaining oil in same wok or frying pan over medium-high heat. Add bok choy, snow peas and 2 tbs water, then stir-fry for 3 minutes or until almost tender. Add chicken, sauce mixture and peas, then stir-fry for 2 minutes or until heated through.
Step 4
Meanwhile, cook rice according to packet instructions. Divide rice among plates and top with stir-fry. Scatter with remaining chilli and serve with lime wedges.

Woolworths' Speedy Lamb Ragu Recipe
A hearty and flavourful Italian dish where tender lamb, sweet carrots, and aromatic onion and garlic stew in a rich tomato sauce. This easy ragu is perfect for a cosy night in.
Ingredients
350g pappardelle
2 tbs extra virgin olive oil
1 brown onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, crushed
2 carrots, finely chopped
500g lamb mince
130g Mutti Double Concentrated Tomato Paste
1/4 bunch continental parsley, chopped
100g Danish feta, crumbled
1/4 cup pine nuts, toasted
Directions
Step 1
Cook pasta following packet instructions. Drain.
Step 2
Meanwhile, heat oil in a large frying pan over high heat. Add onion, garlic and carrot. Cook for 5 minutes. Add lamb. Cook for 3 minutes or until browned. Add paste and ½ cup water.
Step 3
Cook for 3 minutes. Toss pasta though lamb mixture. Serve sprinkled with parsley, feta and pine nuts.

Ingredients
600ml thickened cream
1/4 cup caster sugar
1/3 cup biscoff spread
500g mascarpone
1/3 cup Woolworths milk
372g biscoff biscuits
Directions
Step 1
Grease an 11 x 21cm (7cm deep) loaf pan. Line base and sides with baking paper, extending paper 5cm above edges.
Step 2
Using an electric stand mixer, whisk 1 1/2 cups cream and sugar in a large bowl until soft peaks form. Add half of the spread and whisk until combined. Gently fold in mascarpone.
Step 3
Place milk in a shallow bowl. Dip biscuits, one at a time, into milk. Line base of pan with some of the biscuits, then spread with a little of the cream mixture to cover. Continue layering with remaining cream mixture and biscuits to create 5 layers, finishing with layer cream mixture.
Step 4
Finely crush remaining biscuits. Reserve 1 tbs, then sprinkle remainder over cream layer. Refrigerate for 4 hours or overnight until set.
Step 5
Using an electric stand mixer, beat remaining cream until soft peaks form. Transfer cake to a plate. Drizzle cake with remaining spread and dollop with cream. Serve scattered with reserved biscuits.

30ml St Germain Elderflower Liqueur from BWS
90ml Prosecco
60ml Soda Water
Fresh mint leaves
Ice cubes
Garnishes - lemon wheel and edible flowers
Directions
Fill a large wine glass with ice cubes.
Add St Germain Elderflower Liqueur and gently stir.
Top with Prosecco and soda water.

Hot-cross-bun Mug Cake Recipe
This Easter, use up Cadbury Caramilk hot cross buns in this easy chocolate mug cake recipe.
Ingredients
1 Cadbury® Caramilk® hot cross bun, split in half
1/4 cup self-raising flour
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tbs cocoa powder
1 free range egg
1/4 cup milk
2 tbs mini marshmallows
2 tbs chocolate fudge topping
1 can whipped cream
2 chocolate-shaped Easter bunnies
4 mini Easter eggs
4 raspberries
1 tbs icing sugar
Directions
Step 1
Place the base of the hot cross bun in the base of a 11/2 cup (375ml) microwave-safe mug.
Step 2
Combine flour, sugar and cocoa powder in a medium bowl. Whisk egg and milk in a jug, then add to dry ingredients. Whisk egg mixture until combined and smooth.
Step 3
Pour egg mixture into prepared mug. Top with half of the mini marshmallows. Microwave on high for 11/2 -2 minutes, or until a bamboo skewer inserted into the centre comes out clean.
Step 4
Meanwhile, toast remaining bun top.
Step 5
Top mug cake with half of the chocolate topping, then remaining mini marshmallows and chocolate topping. Decorate with whipped cream, chocolate bunnies, Easter eggs and raspberries. Top with toasted half of hot cross bun. Serve dusted with icing sugar.

30ml Baileys Hazelnut
30ml Baileys Chocolate Flavoured Liqueur
30ml cold brew coffee
15ml hazelnut syrup
Ice
Garnish: Whipped cream, shaved chocolate, crushed toasted hazelnuts.
Directions
1. In a shaker, combine Baileys, cold brew coffee, and hazelnut syrup with ice.
2. Give it a good shake until the outside of the shaker is frosty.
3. Strain into a glass filled with fresh ice.
4. Top with whipped cream, chocolate shavings, and crushed toasted hazelnuts.

Coconut Tequila Sunset Cocktail Recipe
Okay, so you’ve heard of the tequila sunsrise, but now it’s time to meet its sophisticated older sister. The tequila sunset features crème de cassis (or blackberry liqueur), giving it a distinctive moody sunset colouring. This twist on the tropical classic uses coconut tequila as the star for a decadent coco-berry combo. Enjoy at golden hour (or any hour for that matter).
Ingredients
50ml Cazcabel Coconut Tequila from BWS - Chester Square
100ml fresh orange juice
15ml crème de cassis (or blackberry liqueur)
Ice cubes
Orange wedge for garnish
Method
1. Fill a glass with ice and add the Cazcabel Coconut Tequila and orange juice. Stir gently to combine.
2. Slowly pour the crème de cassis over the back of a spoon or down the side of the glass, allowing it to settle at the bottom to create the sunset effect.
3. Garnish with an orange wedge to complete the look.
Woolworths' Teriyaki Chicken Wings with Sweet Chilli Mayo Recipe
🌙 Iftar just got a whole lot better with tender, juicy chicken wings and a creamy dipping sauce to match. The perfect way to bring everyone together after a day of fasting—easy to make and even easier to enjoy.
Ingredients
1.40kg Woolworths RSPCA Approved chicken wings
1/3 cup Mr Chen's teriyaki sauce
500g Woolworths prep set go frozen stir-fry mixed vegetables
1 cup Woolworths white long-grain rice
1/4 bunch spring onions, thinly sliced
2 tbs Woolworths sweet chilli mayonnaise
Directions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 220°C/200°C fan-forced. Place chicken wings in a large baking dish lined with baking paper. Drizzle with ¼ cup sauce. Toss to coat. Bake for 30 minutes or until golden.
Step 2
Meanwhile, cook vegetables in a large 20cm (base measurement) saucepan of boiling water for 2 minutes or until just tender. Drain, place in a separate bowl and cover to keep warm.
Step 3
Using the saucepan, cook rice according to packet directions. Add vegetables and half of the onion to rice. Season.
Step 4
Drizzle chicken wings with remaining sauce. Sprinkle with remaining onion. Serve with rice mixture and mayonnaise.
