INGREDIENTS
Serves 1
50ml Baileys Original Irish Cream
2 teaspoons matcha powder
2-4 tablespoons hot water
1 cup warm water
Milk of choice
Ice
Allergies: Milk
DIRECTIONS
STEP 1
To start, in a measuring cup or bowl add your chosen matcha powder. Add in 2 to 4 tablespoons of hot water and whisk until the matcha has fully dissolved into the water. You’re looking for a paste like texture, once right add 1 cup of water into the bowl, mix and transfer to the fridge to chill for roughly 15 minutes.
STEP 2
Fill a glass with ice and add your Baileys first. Once the Baileys has settled in the bottom of the glass, it’s time to add your milk of choice. For an extra creamy refreshment try froth the milk before pouring into the glass. Slowly pour the milk until the glass is roughly ¾ of the way full and add any syrups to sweeten the taste.
STEP 3
To finish, pour the chilled matcha liquid slowly on top of the milk. Before you stir make sure to admire the layers you have created! Grab a straw, stir, and sip. Delicious!
