Experience the harmony of Japanese flavours in this tuna sushi bake, a budget-friendly twist on classic sushi.
Ingredients
(Serves 4)
500g Woolworths microwave jasmine rice
1/3 cup sriracha
1/3 cup Woolworths sesame seeds, toasted
850g Woolworths tuna in oil, drained, flaked
2 sticks celery, finely chopped
2 spring onions, thinly sliced
2/3 cup Woolworths traditional mayonnaise
1/2 cup Woolworths panko breadcrumbs
Method
Step 1
Preheat oven to 200°C/180°C fan-forced. Grease 4 x 2-cup (500ml) rectangular ovenproof dishes. Place dishes on a baking tray. Divide rice among prepared dishes. Smooth surface. Drizzle each portion of rice with 2 tsp sriracha, then sprinkle each with 2 tsp sesame seeds.
Step 2
Combine tuna, celery, half of the onion and half of the mayonnaise in a large bowl. Spoon tuna mixture evenly over rice in each dish and smooth surface. Drizzle with remaining sriracha and remaining mayonnaise. Sprinkle each dish with 1 1/2 tbs panko and remaining sesame seeds. Bake for 10 minutes or until golden brown. Serve sprinkled with remaining onion.
